Cast Your Cares

The Lord has been showing me some amazing things lately. Its amazing how sometimes the little blessings in life get swallowed up with the craziness of this world. God says to cast our cares on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). When we do that the little blessings in our lives seem to pop out. Gods blessings are so prevalent, but sometimes we are so caught up in our worries that we are not seeing them. If we give our concerns to God, we can live free. Casting our cares before the Lord is a daily thing. Its not like one day you can just decide, Ok I'm never going to worry again. Its a daily surrender, God wants us to live free and if we keep worrying about things and not giving them to God we can never truly have peace. Today decide that whenever something comes up that you have been worrying about, first give it to God and then find something that He has done in your life that you may be missing. Start a blessings list, take a walk in the sunshine and just thank God for everything you have.
